การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของประชาชนเกี่ยวกับสาเหตุและแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาช้างป่าในเขตพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา อำเภอบ่อไร่ จังหวัดตราด วิธีการศึกษาใช้การวิจัยเชิงผสมผสาน ระหว่างการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ในการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณใช้แบบสอบถามจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรที่มีสิทธิ์เลือกตั้งในเขตอำเภอบ่อไร่ จังหวัดตราด จำนวน 396 คน การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพใช้การสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกจากบุคคลทั้งภาครัฐและภาคประชาชนที่มีความรู้และประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับการแก้ไขปัญหาช้างป่า

บทคัดย่อ (EN)

This research was aimed to study local residents’s opinions on causes of and solutions to wild elephant problems in the Thailand-Cambodia border area in Bo Rai District Trat province. The mixed method approach combining quantitative research and qualitative research was used in this study. In the quantitative research, the 396 qualified voters were questionnaire respondents. In the qualitative research, in-depth interviews with officials from the government sector and residents from the citizen sector who have experiences in wild elephant solutions was applied to this study.
